This week the kitchen garden meets nature. First stop Jerrabomberra Wetlands (hat, boots and water bottle recommended). From the car park walk into the first bird hide called Ardea (a genus of herons). It is dark and quiet and we watch a pair of ducks bobbing their heads as they swim (spring flirting) and a pair of masked lapwings on an islet in Kelly’s Swamp. From the next hide a couple with binoculars point out shoveler ducks with three ducklings. A quad of pelicans do a fly past. The sound of church bells is drowned out in the sunken frog-watch area where water is a centimetre below metal gratings. Something is splashing around in this reach of the Molonglo, an Australian water rat, a carp or maybe a platypus. The area where you walk between reeds as high as your shoulders

Road rage: Man rams car into bike after argument in Delhi’s Dilshad Garden – cities

In a road rage incident in east Delhi’s Dilshad Garden early Monday, two friends received multiple injuries after their motorcycle was hit from behind by a car with whose driver they had an argument minutes earlier, police said.

The impact of the hit was such that both men riding the Royal Enfield motorcycle were left with multiple fractures. The Swift car itself climbed up a pavement after hitting the bikerss.

The car driver has been booked for attempt to commit culpable homicide but is yet to be arrested. “We have details of the suspect and are out to find and arrest him,” said a senior police officer who didn’t want to be identified.

The crime happened around 12.30 am on Monday when Juber, 23, and his friend, 22-year-old Siraj, were out to have soft drinks at a shop in Dilshad Garden.

General Tools & Instruments, a portfolio company of High Road Capital Partners, has acquired Garden Weasel from privately-owned Faultless Brands.

Garden Weasel’s products include a range of cultivators, weeders, edgers, nut gatherers and hand tools including Garden Weasel, Garden Claw, and WeedPopper tools. The company’s products are sold primarily in hardware stores, farm and fleet stores, home improvement centers, and big-box retailers. Garden Weasel was founded in 1975 and is based in Kansas City, Missouri.

The buy of Garden Weasel is the second add-on acquisition by General Tool since being acquired by High Road in February 2014. In November 2017, General Tool acquired PacTool International, a designer and manufacturer of a range of siding tools, specialty hand tools, cutting tools and blades used in construction, renovation and remodeling jobs. PacTool’s products include the Gecko Gauge, Snapper Shears, and the Roof Snake.
