Having A Garden Linked To Better Health And Well-Being

A garden does more than just soothes the eyes, and if you have access to one of your own, consider yourself fortunate.

A new study at the University of Exeter and the Royal Horticultural Society has found that spending time in the garden is associated with sound health and higher psychological well-being. “A growing body of evidence points to the health and wellbeing benefits of access to green or coastal spaces”, explained Dr Sian de Bell, of the University of Exeter Medical School, and

White House advises public to avoid groups of more than 10, asks people to stay away from bars and restaurants

Trump himself appeared more downbeat about the short-term prospects for combating the virus, predicting the outbreak wouldn’t be contained until at least the summer and suggesting a recession was possible.

The recommendations he offered were the most substantive to date on how he would advise Americans carry out their lives as the virus spreads. Gone were predictions that it would soon fade or that it was under control, replaced instead by a much longer-term outlook that he acknowledged was still uncertain.

“We’ll see what happens, but they think August, could be July, could be longer than that,” Trump said of the time when life might return to normal in the United States, where some cities have ordered residents to remain at home and localized lockdowns are beginning to take effect.

“I’ve asked that question many, many times,” Trump said, signaling his own desire to see the crisis end.

Hanley said he’s already filling the building from wall to wall with name brand pressure washers, blowers, grills, appliances and more.

The Swedish furniture giant has launched a virtual reality app called the IKEA VR experience, just in time as the first HTC Vive headsets begin shipping today.

The pilot app which is available on Steam VR and built using Unreal Engine 4 from Epic Games, lets Vive headset owners design their own virtual Ikea kitchen that is true to size. Once inside the app, you can explore one of three differently-styled kitchen room settings and change the color of cabinets and drawers with a click.

Change the color of cabinets.

Another feature is the ability to view the VR kitchen from different perspectives by either shrinking or stretching yourself to move around the kitchen at the size of a 3.3 foot-tall child or a 6.4 foot-tall adult. This could be a very useful feature, allowing you to walk

Tips for How to Housetraining Your Puppy

Posted on

House training your puppy is about consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. The goal is to instill good habits and build a loving bond with your pet.

It typically takes 4-6 months for a puppy to be fully house trained, but some puppies may take up to a year. Size can be a predictor. For instance, smaller breeds have smaller bladders and higher metabolisms and require more frequent trips outside. Your puppy’s previous living conditions are another predictor. You may find that you need to help your puppy break old habits in order to establish more desirable ones.

And while you’re training, don’t worry if there are setbacks. As long as you continue a management program that includes taking puppy out at the first sign he needs to go and offering him rewards, he’ll learn.

When to Begin House Training Puppy

Experts recommend that
