Another member of the White House press corps has tested positive for coronavirus after taking a rapid test

If their results are confirmed, this person would be the fourth journalist to have tested positive for Covid-19 after being exposed to an outbreak at the White House.

“In the immediate days ahead, we continue to insist that journalists who are not in the pool and do not have an enclosed workspace refrain from entering the indoor press areas of the White House,” the White House correspondents association said. “We would also strongly encourage all journalists to continue avoiding working from the White House grounds entirely if possible.”

Yesterday, BuzzFeed News pulled a political correspondent White House press pool due to coronavirus risks.

World Trade Center landlord Silverstein Properties turns to ghost kitchen Zuul in bid to return workers

Posted on

“Food is a major concern,” Vardi said. “People are uncomfortable going between the office and outside, and ordering food still requires going down to pick it up.”

The best way to resolve those concerns is by delivering food directly to tenants’ offices, he said. But that raises issues of security and health screenings of couriers entering the building, especially within the World Trade Center.

That has opened an opportunity for Zuul, which operates a commercial kitchen in SoHo where established city brands such as Naya Express, Sarge’s Deli and Stone Bridge Pizza prepare smaller versions of their menus for takeout only. The food is produced from a single commercial kitchen, disconnected from any dining room, typically referred to as a ghost kitchen or cloud kitchen.

Workers can order lunch from those restaurants using a custom app for tenants. Orders must be in by 10:30 a.m. to arrive by lunch hour.

US election debates: Joe Biden humiliated after demanding breaks in debate | World | News

Posted on

According to Fox News, the Democratic candidate’s campaign asked for breaks every 30 minutes to allow both parties to rest. The meeting, which is only scheduled to last 90 minutes, features no commercial breaks.

But President Trump’s campaign countered Mr Biden’s request.

Social media users reacted to Mr Biden’s request and took to Twitter to express their confusion.

One Twitter user wrote: “I must wonder…will the heads of other countries also allow Biden such courtesies?

“What if we become engaged in conflict that requires hours of being engaged?

“Is there anything Biden has shown lately that indicates he is up for such an important job as Leader of the Free World?”

Former New York Mayor, Rudy Giuliani wrote: “Biden is begging for long breaks during just a 90-minute debate!

“It’s either two 15 minute breaks or a half-hour break in the middle.

“So far the Election Commission has stood firm

Parents jumping on New World Little Garden bandwagon push full set price over $70

Posted on

The New World Little Garden collection craze has taken root.

The supermarket chain began the six-week promotion on September 7, giving away vegetable, herb and flower seedling kits with every $40 spent – so you’d have to spend $960 over six weeks to collect them all.

The going rate for a full set of New World Little Garden seedlings at auction is currently about $70.

The going rate for a full set of New World Little Garden seedlings at auction is currently about $70.

Kiwi parents committed to collecting the full catalogue have adopted a ‘work smarter not harder’ approach and founded numerous community Facebook groups to trade and on-sell excess seedlings of one type in exchange for the plants they don’t have.

Trade Me spokesperson Millie Silvester said the individual seedlings and sets are selling for “big bucks” online.

A MESSAGE FROM YAYOI KUSAMA TO THE WHOLE WORLD – Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden

Posted on

Today, with the world facing COVID-19, I feel the necessity to address it with this message:

Though it glistens just out of reach, I continue to pray for hope to shine through
Its glimmer lighting our way
This long awaited great cosmic glow

Now that we find ourselves on the dark side of the world
The gods will be there to strengthen the hope we have spread throughout the universe

For those left behind, each person’s story and that of their loved ones
It is time to seek a hymn of love for our souls
In the midst of this historic menace, a brief burst of light points to the future
Let us joyfully sing this song of a splendid future
Let’s go

Embraced in deep love and the efforts of people all over the world
Now is the time to overcome, to bring peace
We gathered for love and

Join The Ringer in raising money for World Central Kitchen.

WCK’s relief team is working across America to safely distribute individually packaged fresh meals in communities that need support—including takeout for children and families and deliveries for seniors who can’t venture outside. They’re now serving tens of thousands of meals daily in New York City, Washington, D.C., Little Rock, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and other cities.

WCK has also formed #ChefsForAmerica—a coalition of restaurants and tech companies working together to provide meals to Americans who need assistance.

They’re supporting hospital workers who are doing their jobs in wartime-like conditions, as well as local restaurants that have been affected by the COVID-19 crisis. How are they doing that? By launching initiatives across America to deliver fresh, hot meals to hospitals and clinics fighting on the front lines.

British World War II veteran raises millions for health care workers by walking laps around his garden

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) in an interview this week expressed regret that he didn’t warn about the dangers of the coronavirus in December or January.

Cuomo spoke to Axios on HBO and, when asked what he wishes he could change about the actions he took during the coronavirus crisis, he said officials should have been more concerned about the threat of COVID-19 in December, despite what China was saying.

“When we heard in December that China had a virus problem, and China said basically it was under control, don’t worry — we should have worried,” Cuomo said, going on to ask “where was every other country” to “make sure China had it under control?”

Cuomo went on to say that he wishes he personally spoke out about the threat of the virus at this time.

“I wish someone stood up and blew the bugle, and if no one
